The Plan
On the 31st August 2017 our team of six will fly out to Kyrgyzstan with the intention to spend three weeks exploring the remote mountain range of the Djenghi-Djer.
The Djenghi-Djer is a range consisting of mountains in the region of 4,500m, and has only been visited once before by a climbing expedition in August 2016. This team entered from the east on an exploratory expedition on horseback, so we are going to make our way in from the west, from the town of Naryn. We will aim to reach the same area as the 2016 expedition, therefore covering the whole mountain range between us.

The 2016 expedition climbed a number of peaks in the Djenghi-Djer, and identified many more potential summits for future expeditions visiting the area. It is our plan to climb some of these peaks, and hopefully others, during our time in the mountains. The photos from the 2016 expedition also show some very interesting north faces of the mountains which will be explored in the hope of putting up more technical routes to the summits.
